Description
A small babbling brook splashes of clear, pure water plays its way down the creek. It pours over submerged rocks, making miniature waterfalls and causing white froth when it lands in the pool below. In the deeper, calmer sections, smooth brown stones line the bottom, their surface covered with silt. All along the way, on the banks and in the middle, green fuzzy moss covers the larger rocks that are above the stream. Brown and green predominate in this image, with unmovable stones and swift-moving water. But it's the white water that causes the excitement.
All in all, the brook provides a quiet cover of quiet, gurgling sound, and a refreshing invitation for bare feet.
