Description
Shimmery and indistinct, like an impressionistic painting, the reflection from this pond gives an upside-down view of bare trees in winter. The sun's glow lights the tan sycamore branches. Oaks, their color not yet changing, add shades of green to the forest in the background. As if to prove the reality of the water, sticks, roots, and grass protrude from the small lake's shallow edge. Photography? Yes. But it looks like a watercolor.
