In an eerie, surreal, nighttime scene, the sky is raining stars. Trails of light follow the stars' paths across the sky. The time is midnight; but the light from the multitude of stars brightens the sky to a fine medium blue. Treetops that should be silhouetted against the night sky are bathed in a mysterious yellow glow.
I've always loved looking at nature, drifting along with the ever-changing clouds, stopping to smell the roses. God's creation gives an abundant and ever changing variety of subjects for me to capture. I enjoy photographing all of nature, from the wide vistas of mountains and valleys, right down to spiders, butterflies, and dewdrops. I bought my first camera, a Canon AE-1, in 1979, and practiced and experimented and asked questions. I still ask questions and read blogs; but I've never taken a formal course or workshop. I switched to digital in 2000, which allows more experimenting, with instant feedback, so I can correct a shot immediately. My current camera is a Nikon D-90, with a 28-300 and a macro.
