Artist's Description

On a clean white cloth of linen lies a battered, old pocket watch, only a part of it showing, so close is the photo. The numbers in black -- 2, 3, 4 -- mark the hours, with the minutes 15, 20, 25, written smaller, above them, in blue. The brass casing, once shiny and new, shows the dents and scratches of time. The pattern of parallel crenelations has been marred. The second hand dial appears in the bottom corner, with the minute hand partially covering it, pointing to the "25". A life well lived, marking time for its owner.

My grandfather's pocket watch.

Although I'm digital, I don't use...
