Description
Ripples in a pond reflect the colors of an autumn day. The watery scene shows upside down, with clear blue sky at the bottom, sunlit treetops in the middle, and shadowy darkness at the top. The time of day is early evening, when the sun still touches the crown of the trees and leaves the rest of the world in shade.
The ripples on the surface cause the mirrored colors to flow into one another, reds, greens, and yellows all watered down. The water's movement originates in the top right portion of the image and grows toward the bottom left in concentric circles, like a breeze blowing through a forest.
