Description
Three distinct ribbons of water flow down the face of a rocky cliff, zigzagging their way along the rocks. They appear abruptly from the underbrush of the forest into a bright sunny spot, splashing onto the boulders below. The season was dry, the ribbons are thin; but the grandeur is breathtaking!
The top of the photo is framed by leafy trees, curling like a wig around a head. Each tree shows its own shade of green, from the dark green of rhododendron to the lighter yellow-green of dogwoods spotted with the sun. Early autumn leaves, already fallen, in red, yellow, and orange, are scattered on the horizontal surfaces of the rocks. From the right side, three broken tree limbs jut into the frame.
